I have had the privilege of working with Fernando Loera for the past ten years. I first met Fernando when he was the general contractor for the construction of my medical spa. The project was a complete construction from an empty space. Fernando was a pleasure to work with because he was ethical, exacting and always in control of the process. He knew when each subcontractor was scheduled and he made sure that the work was done on time and completed properly. He never accepted work that was done poorly or not to our specifications. It is now nine years from the original construction and my clients always comment on what a beautiful space we have. Years later Fernando was contracted to do a remodel on our Belmont property. Again the work was impeccable, timely and even better, the work area was always clean. Today when I have guests over they admire our French-style fireplace and barrel ceilings that Fernando and our decorator designed. My designer works with many contractors and especially enjoyed working with Fernando because he is honest, easy to work with and always makes sure the work is done correctly. I know I can call Fernando, day or night, and he will respond to my concerns immediately. Once you work with Fernando you will have a contractor for life.

We are more than pleased! We were referred to Aftermath Construction thanks to a random conversation during a doctor appointment-regarding the purchase of our new home and the amount of work it needed-and thank goodness! Our first phone call was returned the same day. Fernando Loera (his company) came to see the property, on time (even donning a suit and crawling underneath to assess damage) and we walked him through our needs: dry rot repair, repairing termite damage, bathroom gut and remodel, ceiling and wall removal, new flooring throughout, plumbing, tile work, painting, new molding (floor and crown), restoring an illegal garage conversion, UGH. We were lucky enough to catch him at a GREAT time and he and his team began soon after that first meeting, and they do it ALL!
They were always on time. They worked HARD-unbelievable work ethic. They were respectful and kind, always. They were understanding and patient with any questions or concerns (which weren't much as we were in such good hands). They are ARTISTS, the finished product is amazing!
Although we don't have experience in the home remodel department to compare, we do have stories from friends and family that are not close to the positive experience we had working with Aftermath-Fernando, the team of Enrique and Franklin (the brothers) and Eddie mostly-These gentlemen created our new home and will always be remembered fondly. They made living in a construction zone more than tolerable, thus far less stressful, AND completed the project on time as promised. Much thanks also to Aurora, she handles correspondence and billing-very thorough and never a problem-always gracious and professional.

I would like to take this opportunity to provide a reference for Fernando Loera as a Builder who has recently worked on our home in Los Gatos. Fernando and his team from Aftermath Construction are currently working on the third Project for us in the last 14 months.
